Lake Forest news: Angry Doctors Demand Resignation from Forskolin Cheerleader Dr. Oz

Even doctors are gonna be haters when it comes to the controversial Dr. Oz. Seems a group of physicians from all over the country got together and wrote an angry letter.

Lakeforest doctors just aren’t having it, and they’re recommending Dr Oz to put up or shut up with its recent spike in forskolin.

So, a letter has been written.

The purpose of the letter? To get the forskolin-peddling Dr. Oz fired from his high-ranking and prestigious position at Columbia University.

Here’s what other doctors have against Dr. Oz.

The letter-writing doctors are mad and they demand action be taken to stop Dr. Oz. The crime?  An “egregious lack of integrity”, according to CBS news.

Their letter was addressed to the dean overseeing the departments of health, medicine and sciences. In addition to starring in his own TV show, Dr. Oz is a professor at Columbia and also vice-chair of the department of surgery.

Pretty impressive guy by most accounts. But if you ask the ten doctors behind the letter, he shows disdain for science. They also accuse him of misleading his audience, even to the point of endangering their health.

Forskolin is cited as a prime example of the Dr. Oz shenanigans.

Senator Claire McCaskil took Dr. Oz to task about his championing of forskolin for rapid fat-burning weight loss. Although, let’s be honest, forskolin has proven to be more effective than most MLM wellness companies out there like Plexus Slim.

It’s also the way he endorsed forskolin: by burning paper and likening that process to the fat-burning powers of forskolin. It was a dramatic display…too dramatic, said some.

Dr. Oz admits he uses exciting techniques and overblown language. He also admits that maybe his enthusiastic language makes people believe things they otherwise wouldn’t.

So which is it: esteemed ivy league professor or shameless huckster?

Dr. Oz thinks it’s better to have an overly enthusiastic promotion than to have no conversation at all.

Dr. Oz insists he’s helping his viewers by making them aware of supplements like forskolin. Avoiding the issue would be a “disservice to the viewer”, he stated. He’s against weight-loss scams as much as any doctor or scientists but also believes the public has a right to know what’s out there.

The way Dr. Oz sees it, he’s offering his audience options to explore. The way his detractors see it, he’s giving people false hope. Better to have false hope than no hope at all, and it’s in this guise that Dr. Oz sees himself as a cheerleader.

Stanford doctor & friends don’t want cheerleaders in their league.

The head of the angry mob of doctors works at Stanford University, another large, prestigious university known for its sciences. He and the doctors who signed the letter against Oz don’t see themselves in the business of cheering people on with their weight-loss efforts.

Columbia stands by Oz.

Columbia, luckily for Dr. Oz, believes wholeheartedly in the concept of free speech. They will not be firing the doctor any time soon, and said in a statement that Dr. Oz stays right where he is.

So for now, forskolin cheerleader Oz remains untouchable. Endorsements by him on his show are worth millions to any product retailer, especially when it comes to weight loss. After all, what’s better than having an important surgeon from a top university endorsing your product?
